The upholstered Mademoiselle armchair is an innovative design for an arm chair with the clever and absolutely new technique or fusing two different plastic materials and finishes apparently foreign to each other: the structure in transparent polycarbonate offers solid support and a soft and comfortable polyurethane seat, without foregoing the glamour of transparency and colour!

Nihau Chair - Kartell, What's New

The work of one of the great masters of Italian design - and a long time in development - the Nihau Chair combines a simple minimalist design with refinement and incredible chic. Its butterfly silhouette is flexible, light, elegant and delicately coloured. The polypropylene chair seat is available in a wide reange of gentle tomes. The support of the structure consists of slim tubes in chromed steel. The shapoe is slender, the curves are soft, the lines are curvaceous. In addtion to its design, great care has been given to details in the constructioon, to allow a soft, rounded thickness and a very accurate finish which makes the shape of Nihau so special.

Bookworm Bookshelf - Kartell, * inspiration

The Bookworm bookshelf was originally designed by Ron Arad to be made from steel, but Kartell soon realised the potential this product had, and when produced in a Technopolymer Semi-transluscent plastic, it instantly became one of their best selling products.

The theory is that you are supplied with a length of shelf (comes coiled in a box) and a number of wall brackets (dependant of the length of the shelf). You then draw/design the shape of your own bookworm however you wish.

As well as being a bookshelf , book worm also makes a great CD rack, and can also be quite useful in a bathroom!
