- Bombo Range
The Bombo Range is an ever growing family of modern seating solutions. It all began back in 1997 when Italian Designer Stefano Giovannoni designed a height adjustable bar stool as a brief set by italian manufacturer Magis - it was to be an modern update to their already Classic Lyra Bar Stools.
A Chair and table are also part ot the range and other items include a Little Bombo Table for use as a coffee table or next to a sofa, and a Big Bombo Table which is a Dining Table with a top measuring 1.3 metres in Diameter should fit 6 - 8 people round. The newest additions are Special Bombo Stools designed for high specification contract applications are also available from - www.design-conscious.co.uk

First Magis and Stefano Giovannoni brought us the brilliant Bombo Bar Stool, then they gave us the Bombo Table, and now we have the Bombo Chair, A shapely and deceptively comfortable chair with rotating seat made from ABS Plastic, height adjustable via a gas piston. A choice of base: either a circular chrome plated steel base or a five-star base of stainless steel with polyamide castors.

Big Bombo Table - Design: Sefano Giovannoni for MAGIS

Another addition to the Bombo Family is the Big Bombo Table, a dining height table with a large capacity - A real Family Sized Dining Table - Available in two options and in a limited palette of White, Anthracite or Metallic Silver. The Top and stem are in a hard wearing Polyurethane and the weighted base is chromed steel. Complemented by the shapely and deceptively comfortable Bombo Chair.

It is no wonder that the Bombo Chair has become such a popular product for commercial applications such as waiting areas, be they in medical centres, garages, retail shops or airports - because it fulfils so many of the important demands that such high traffic areas create.

On the aesthetic front they are stylish, curvaceous and as many people describe them ' Really 21st Century' and they come in such a fabulous choice of colours that they are visually a high-impact product. Simple yet sophisticated - the Bombo Table was designed by Stefano Giovannoni to compliment the Bombo Bar Stool his daring design for Italian Furniture company Magis.Available as a height adjustable model which will adapt from 64 cm (an ideal low dining height for children), through 75 cm (which is adult dining height), right up to 90 cm (which is a standard Bar height). And any height in-between. Such versatility is invaluable in a domestic home, perhaps not as essential in a commercial applications such as Cafe/Bars and Exhibition Stands for which the fixed height models offer greater value for money. Available in either 73 cm Dining Height or 90 cm Bar height. These Bombo Tables can be complimented well with either the Bombo Stool or the Bombo Chair.
