The elliptical structure of Titanias outer casing, composed of blades, simultaneously acts as a non-dazzle screen, a reflector of the central light source and a heat dissipater.

Five pairs of polycarbonate interchangeable filters in the colours green, red, blue, yellow and violet give rise to the various colourings of the lamellar body. In fact Titania can be coloured as desired, by a simple movement of the hand to slot the different filters in and out and to give the lamp a dematerialised colour - whilst always keeping an emission of white light! The Agave suspension lamp come in three shapes. The spherical one was designed first, to distribute light evenly over a room. The second, narrower, pointier shape is influenced by a traditional form in Venetian blown glass commonly used as an alternative to the classical sphere. And the third, flower-shaped one is designed to diffuse light over a tabletop.

The Shade – spherical or elliptical – of the lamp consists of ribs in injection-moulded transparent methacrylate. These, besides guaranteeing transparency and brightness, cover the bulb to prevent dazzle and dispersion of light flow. Their radial composition in fact causes a dematerialization of the luminous source, while a set of (yellow, red and blue) filters makes it possible with the greatest of ease to change the predominant colour of the lamp and of the light generated by it.
