Alessi Spirale was designed to solve the Ashtray conundrum - that has been both the torment and delight of many a designer - Achille Castiglioni, an absent-minded smoker himself, provided this ingenious solution way back in 1970!!!

A spiral spring (that is easy to extract for cleaning) holds the cigarette and prevents it from falling.

Small size makes a perfect cigarette ashtray
while the large size is probably more suited to cigars, or a family
of really heavy smokers - as it is HUGE!
