Alessi Pito Kettle

At first this object looks more like a sculpture than a kettle - an unusual Hob Kettle that combines a stainless steel body with a mahogany wood handle and melodic stopper.

Much of Frank Gehry's work derives its inspiration from fish forms & you can easily see that fascination in this kettle - the sculptural form of the handle and stopper have a quality that almost makes you believe that you can see the fish flapping and splashing around!
