The Agave suspension lamp come in three shapes. The spherical one was designed first, to distribute light evenly over a room. The second, narrower, pointier elliptical shape is influenced by a traditional form in Venetian blown glass commonly used as an alternative to the classical sphere. And the third, a parabolic flower-shaped one is designed to diffuse light over a tabletop.

The body of the lamp consists of ribs in injection-moulded transparent methacrylate. These, besides guaranteeing transparency and brightness, cover the bulb to prevent dazzle and dispersion of light flow. A set of (yellow, red and blue) filters makes it possible with the greatest of ease to change the predominant colour of the lamp and of the light generated by it.
