GIANDELLI - Gabriella Giandelli

Born in Milan in 1963, started her own business in 1984 as a cartoonist, publishing her first work in magazines such as 'Frigidaire' and 'Alter-Alter', and later in Oreste del Buono's 'Dolce Vita' and other important avant-garde magazines in Europe such as Strapazine and L'echo de Savanes.
She was active in editorial illustration, where she collaborated with newspapers such as Le Monde, Il Manifesto, and Le Courier International; also in advertising illustration with campaigns undertaken for important French and Italian companies, and in fashion illustration, where she has been involved with Vanity, Harper's Bazaar, and has planned and designed catalogues for Fausto Santini collections. Along with illustrations and comic book stories, she also carried out activities as graphic designer. She has designed patterns for fabric, carpets, watches, glass etc. for groups such as Alchimia and Memphis.
