Many of his works are exhibited in some of the most important Museums and Collections of Arts and Applied Arts of the world, amongst which the Centre George Pompidou in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Teatre Museu Dalì in Figueras, the Musèe des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, the Architektur Museum in Frankfurt, the Museum of Decoratifs Arts in Montreal, the Museo de Artes Decorativas in Barcelona.

He was awarded with the Gold Metal for Fine Arts in Spain, the Sant Jordi Cross of Generalitat de Catalunya and he is Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Humanities in France.
Amongst his many architectural works are the Palace of Catalan Music in Barcelona, and the Pavillion Tusquets al Parc de la Villette in Paris.
