Carlo Bartoli, born in 1931 in Milan, began his career as an architect in his birth-place, after receiving his degree from the Polytechnic. His main interests lie in interior and industrial design.He has created designs for: Arc Linea, Arflex, Colombo Design, Kartell, Segis, Ycami and many more. He is the artistic director for Colombo Design and Segis.Carlo Bartoli taught design at the Advanced Institutes of Industrial Design in Florence and in Rome. Lately his interests have broadened to the architectural and environmental conservation. At the moment he gives one-theme lessons and seminars to the Polytechnic Schools of Milan and Turin on methods for industrial design and the relation between designer and industry.He has participated in numerous exhibitions: Milan (Triennale 1968, 1983, Eurodomus 1970, XVI Compasso d’Oro), New York (Museum of Contemporary Crafts, 1968, Museum of Modern Arts, 1969), Libyan (Biennale of Industrial Design, 1968), London (Victoria and Albert Museum, 1970), Turin (Eurodomus 1972), Prague (Museum of Decorative Arts, 1972), Kyoto (1979), Hong Kong (1979), Athens (Zappion Megaron 1980), Cologne (Stadtmuseum 1981), Buenos Aires (monographic exhibition 'Carlo Bartoli: thirty years of design', 1997).His 'Gaia' armchair for Arflex is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, while his armchair 'Breeze' produced by Segis, is part of the Vitra Design Museum collection. It has been bestowed with the ID Design Distinction Award 1996 and with the Red Dot - Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany. The sofa 'Tube' produced by Rossi d’Albizzate and the armchair Breeze have been assigned the IF Award for Good Industrial Design in 1996 and 1997 at Hannover, Germany.

Born in 1963 in Milan, where he lives and works today, Claudio Bellini graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design in 1990 at the Politecnico di Milano. His innate talent was apparent since 1987, when he started working at Mario Bellini Associates, where his skills brought him to be an integral part of many important projects, spanning the globe and ranging from architecture to industrial and furniture design. In 1997 he founded with Mario Bellini “Atelier Bellini”, an innovative consultancy dedicated to industrial design, with special interest in the relationship between new technologies and aesthetic research processes. From 2006 he develops his architectural and design project through his own studio in Milan “Claudio Bellini Design + Design”
