CIBIC - Aldo CibicCIBIC - Aldo Cibic
Aldo Cibic, an Italian born Architect who along with Ettore Sottsass, Matteo Thun and Marco Zanini founded 'Sottsass Associati' and later 'Studio Memphis'. In 1989 he started up on his own as 'Cibic and Partners', working both in Italy and Abroad in the fields in the fields of Interior and Industrial Design.

CITTERIO - Antonio CitterioCITTERIO - Antonio Citterio
Born in Meda in 1950, Antonio Citterio studied architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan, graduating in 1972. In the same year, he set up a studio in Lissone with Paolo Nava - a partnership that lasted until 1981. During this time, he designed for, among others Kartell, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Valli & Valli, Vitra and Moroso. He is a member of the A.D.I. and has taught at the Domus Academy. He received Compasso d'Oro awards in 1979, 1987 and 1995. The 'Mobil' system and the 'Battista' folding table for Kartell are on display in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art of New York.

Antonio Citterio has taught at Domus Academy of Milan from 1990 until 1992 and at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1997.
He has been the external examiner for the Furniture Design Course of Royal College of London from 1993 until 1995.

CLOTET - Lluis ClotetCLOTET - Lluis Clotet
Lluis Clotet was born in Barcelona in 1941. He attended the Barcelona Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, where he received his degree in 1965. From 1961 to 1964 he worked for Federico Correa and Alfonso Milás's Studio; during the same year he set up Studio PER, with Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici and Oscar Tusquets.He designed a host of schemes with Oscar Tusquets through 1983.He was one of the founders of B.D. Ediciones de Diseño, for which he has created furniture and objects.He received the F.A.D. award for the best interior designs in 1965 and 1972, and for the best building in 1979 and 1980.He collaborated on the 15th Milan Triennale of 1973. He took part in: the Festival of Fine Architecture in Paris in 1978; 'Transformations in Modern Architecture' at New York's MOMA in 1979; the Forum Design in Linz and the Venice Biennale in 1980; 'The House as Image' at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1980; 'The Presence of the Past' in San Francisco in 1982 and 'Ten New Buildings' at the London ICA in 1983.

Nigel Coates : Head of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the Royal College of Art in London, Nigel Coates is considered one of the most original theorists on the British architectural scene. His career has taken him in three interrelated directions: architecture, design, and teaching, each of them providing experience for the others.
His first project for Alessi perfectly reflects one of the salient characteristics of his work: his search for a mingling of cultures together with his ability to melt different stylistic differences into sensual, fluid, highly personal forms.
COLOMBO - Joe ColomboCOLOMBO - Joe Colombo
Born in Milan in 1930, Joe Colombo initially trained as a painter at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts before studying architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. From 1951 to 1955, he worked independently as a painter and sculptor. He joined the Nuclear Painting Movement and later became a founding member of the Art Concrete Group. In 1962, he opened his own office and designed the 'Universale' stacking chair for Kartell in 1965.
