Rundes Modell Cutlery was originally designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1906 for the Wiener Werkstaette and presented for the first time to the public at the exhibition entitled 'The Laid Table' in Vienna. This cutlery was produced by hand in Silver until 1912. The service is now reproduced in stainless steel by Alessi under license.

With such a modern style it is hard to believe that it was designed almost a century ago, yet the knives, forks and spoons reflect the search for functionality combined with extreme elegance.
